Sea Freight
There are two main modes of shipping goods which are extensively used. Sea freight is a less expensive option than air freight, especially for heavy or bulky items, although it has a longer lead-time. If you are located in Latin America delivery lapse always takes from 4 to 7 calendar days. Plus the local calendar days for customs clearance and local delivery.
Our experienced in sea freight offers you the best possible advice and guidance on all aspects of transport logistics suitable to your cargo. It is to ship it Full Container Loads (FCL) or Lesser Container Loads (LCL).
We provide a network of solutions from port to port which includes export transportation logistics from premises to port, loading, unloading and freight consolidation option with freight forwarding services.
Charges are calculated in cubic meters (CBM) and this will help determine the mode of transport such as FCL or LCL. As a rule, the various FCL sizes and their respective capacities are based on 20' (28CBM), 40' (58CBM) and 40 H/C (68 CBM). This can change dependant on commodity and how the goods are packed.
The process is simple - we arrange collection of your cargo at origin, either directly from factory or production site in US. Alternatively we can deliver it to our warehouse in case it will be needed. All export documentation is prepared, ensuring packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, export licenses are all in order prior to dispatch. Upon arrival at destination we arrange collection from the airline or maritime agent and deliver to your chosen point of receipt.
